Site work and paving for a road / highway in East Fayetteville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Project includes the following Work: This project primarily consists of: Resurfacing (46) streets (approximately 12.69 miles) and milling (7) streets (approximately 2.71 miles). The work includes, but is not limited to, removing and replacing curb and gutter, installing and retrofitting handicap ramps, utility adjustments, milling, cutting out and patching areas, placing leveling and overlay courses, thermoplastic pavement markings. The Project has an expected duration of 270 days For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to City of Fayetteville in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates). Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor Bid informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work. Any bid including any unit or lump sum bid price that is unbalanced to the potential detriment of the City will be considered irregular and may be rejected
