Sealed bids can be submitted to the school board of marion county, florida purchasing department, 506 s.e. 3rd avenue, ocala, florida 34471, for the following bids: preliminary bid 3933ah food service large equipment. The Latham Electronic Time Recorder in the Purchasing Department will be used to determine the official time of Bid deadlines. Only those Bids receiving a receipt stamped on or before the Bid submission deadline will be opened, reviewed, and considered. Bids will be opened publicly and only the names of respondents will be read at opening. Per Florida Statute 119.071, sealed bids received in this competitive solicitation are exempt from public inspection until notice of an intended decision is made or until 30 days after opening the bids, whichever is earlier. The bid opening will take place in the Purchasing Department Conference Room, 506 SE 3rd Avenue, Ocala, Florida 34471. The School Board of Marion County, Florida reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or to waive any informalities therein, or to accept other than the highest bid when considered to be in the best interest of the Owner.
