*As of June 27, 2022, a general contractor has been awarded and construction is nearly complete. Location: Work is generally located at the intersection of Forest Avenue and Avalon Road. Outline of Work: The project includes, but, is not limited to the following items: 1. Installation of approximately 200 linear feet of new gravity storm drain pipe, dewatering, installation of precast catch basins and drain manholes, new ADA ramps, associated construction for street trench repair, pedestrian and vehicle traffic control during construction and other Incidental work including; support of existing underground utilities including water, natural gas, electrical and telecommunications utilities during excavations. 2. The work also includes (under separate contract with the Portland Water District) water main replacement (approximately 140 linear feet) and associated construction as indicated on the plans and Specifications including Maintenance of temporary water service during construction; Traffic control; Relocation /reconnection of existing water service laterals which may conflict with work. Prebid Meeting: There will be no prebid meeting for this project. Each prospective bidder will be required to obtain from the City each copy of the proposal form and plan set. Bids from vendors not registered with the Purchasing Office may be rejected; receipt of this document directly from the City of Portland indicates registration.
