Description

Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Prince George, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,856-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

The scope of work includes the design and build of an Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Shelter located at the Prince George International Airport, 10 - 4141 Airport Rd, Prince George, British Columbia. The work related to the design and construction shall include, but is not limited to the architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and civil works associated with the proposed addition and modification of the current Firehall area of the existing Combined Services Building (CSB), including indoor forklift access between the new addition and the CSB. The proposed new designated Firehall shall be built to code and will be approximately 58' x 32' and 20' high to accommodate space required to house the PGAA 2018 Oshkosh Stryker and 2022 Rosenbauer Panther. The extension and modification to the CSB structure will be attached to the CSB staff meeting room/Emergency Operations Centre to provide sufficient movement of personnel and apparatus as well as emergency response routes to the airside fire protection areas.
