Question Cutoff Date 5/9/2022 07:00:00 PM (ET) The Iowa Department of Transportation (Iowa DOT) is requesting bids for 300 ton of Erosion Stone (Rock) delivered to the Sac City DOT Maintenance garage site by June 15, 2022 per the details and specifications referenced in this solicitation. Material shall be delivered to the site and dumped where directed by the District Maintenance Manager or designee. DOT Maintenance forces will construct stockpile. This is reference to the term "Delivered" in the Schedule of Prices. No elevators will be required. Delivery Period: Delivery period of each order shall be within ten working days after order has been placed. If within 20 days the product is not available, the Iowa DOT has the right to purchase the material from another source. Contract Award: It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Order quantities and delivery instructions will be provided by maintenance location personnel ordering product. Delivery Requirements: The material shall be delivered to the Iowa DOT destination(s) between 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. on normal working days Monday through Friday, with a notification of delivery phone call 24 hours prior to delivery.
