Job No. HPR-66-034-22, Illinois State Long Range Transportation Plan, Statewide, Bureau of Planning. This project may contain Federal Funds. This project requires 19% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on July 27, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the Central Bureau of Planning Office in Springfield. Services are required to update the Illinois Long Range Transportation Plan in accordance with 23 U.S.C 135, 49 U.S.C 5304, and 20 ILCS 2705/2705-200. Plan development will include the following elements detailed in subsequent sections: (1) program gap and data review; (2) public and stakeholder outreach; (3) goals, needs, and objectives review and modification; (4) transportation system descriptions; (5) performance measure identification and compilation; (6) transportation funding and financing identification and synthesis, (7) compilation of recommendations, implementation strategies, and evaluation metrics; (8) document development; (9) project management and coordination; and (10) additional planning assistance. The Illinois Long Range Transportation Plan will set the strategic direction for the development of Illinois' transportation system for a minimum 20-year forecast period. It will set a vision for innovative, sustainable, and multimodal transportation solutions that support local goals and grow Illinois' economy.
