Renovation of a data center facility in Honolulu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a data center facility.
Vendors are advised that they may be liable for Hawaii state taxes including Hawaii General Excise Tax (4%) and the applicable Use tax (0.5%). Note that for the City and County of Honolulu (the island of Oahu), there is an additional 0.5% County Surcharge Tax (CST). Unless otherwise stated in the solicitation, offers for goods or services subject to Hawaii taxes shall include all applicable taxes in the price offered.Vendors having questions regarding the project must submit them in writing to the Contact Person. Questions must be received no later than 10 calendar days prior to the bid closing date.The work consists of furnishing and paying for all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary for the renovation of computer data center and office space, all in accordance with the plans and specifications, in place complete. The estimated construction cost is between $500,000 to $2,500,000 The BWS reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive all defects and to eliminate or delete from the Contract any ITEM NUMBER or any work included under any LUMP SUM bid or UNIT PRICE bid or any part of any UNIT PRICE bid in the Proposal. No payment shall be made for the deleted work. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
