Bids must be accompanied either by a certified cheque, an irrevocable first demand letter of guarantee issued by a financial institution or a bid bond issued by a financial institution in accordance with the tender documents, representing ten percent (10%) of the total tender, payable to the Owner, valid for a period of forty-five (45) days following the date of opening of tenders.
