Nova Scotia Community College invites Bids for the Amenity Space Construction at the Strait Area Campus, 226 Reeves Street, Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia. 1. Please see the attached Specifications and Drawings. 2. The Contractor will be responsible to coordinate any and all service shutdowns/outages with the NSCC Facilities Manager. 3. The Contractor will be responsible to complete a third party locate, identifying all underground services before proceeding with any work. The Contractor will be responsible to make good any damage to existing services caused in the carrying out of this Work. 4. The Contractor will be responsible to coordinate all inspections and tie ins with NSP (Nova Scotia Power) and all other utilities. All costs associated with NSP and local utilities will be the responsibility of the Contractor. 5. Any service interruptions to NSCC operations must be coordinated with NSCC and the Consultant. The Contractor will be responsible to complete any service shutdowns/outages during off hours (outside of NSCC's regular business hours). 6. The Contractor will be responsible to reinstate any damage done in the carrying out of the work to a like new condition. 7. Bidders may submit an alternate solution providing the specification(s) for the proposed alternate are submitted not later than five (5) days before to closing.
