Site work and paving for a civil project in Lawai, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The scope of work consists of widening the existing roadway pavement to accommodate the construction of a left-turn lane, removing and installing pavement marking, constructing geo-synthetic reinforced soil (GRS) retaining wall, removing and installing metal guardrail, constructing grated drop inlet, storm drain manhole, reinforced concrete pipe culvert, asphalt concrete swale, and grouted rubble paving, installing traffic sign, cold planing and resurfacing, and hydro-mulch seeding of dressed shoulder. The estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. To be eligible for award, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii General Engineering Contractor's "A" license at the time of bidding.
