Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lihue, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The scope of work for this project consists of replacing an existing asphalt pavement overlay with a hybrid polymer concrete overlay at Pier 3 at Nawiliwili Harbor. The estimated construction cost is between $350,000 and $450,000. To be eligible for award, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii General Engineering Contractor's "A" license at the time of the bid opening.Compliance with 103B-3, HRS is a requirement for this project whereby a minimum of 80% of the bidder's work force on this project must consist of Hawaii residents.A 5% bid adjustment for bidders that are parties to apprenticeship agreements pursuant to 103-55.6, HRS, is applicable to this project.
