Site work and paving for a road / highway in McLean, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

*As of June 30, 2022, an apparent low bidder has been identified, however, a general contractor has not been awarded. Sealed bids are hereby solicited for construction of Rocky Run Tributary at Dulles Access Road (DF9121). This project consists of restoration of approximately 1,200 feet of the segement of Rocky Run between the Dulles Access Rd. and Lewinsville Rd. in McLean, VA. in the Dranesville District of Fairfax County. The proposed stream restoration work shall comply with Natural Channel Design (NCD) standards for the following structure installations, but not limited to these structures: in-stream structures (rock and log vanes, log sills, reinforced bed mix), log bulkhead, and the stabilization of stream channel bed and banks and native landscaping. Work also includes concrete channel, apron, and maintenance access road extension. Construction stake-out is the Contractor's responsibility. This is a LUMP SUM price Contract. Contract length is 280 calendar days. All questions concerning the project shall be submitted in writing to the Director, Utilities Design & Construction Division, Department of Public Works and Environmental Services, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Suite 463, Fairfax, VA 22035-0056, or by emailing DPWESCAPUDCDStormwaterInquiry@fairfaxcounty.gov, and to be given consideration, questions must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bids. This office is the only point where information will be disseminated. Bid Security must accompany each proposal in accordance with Information for Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening thereof. Crew and supervision with NCD experience required.
