The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary for Chilled Water Lines Replacement at 464-455 N. Rexford Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90210 as described in the drawings and specifications. The base scope of work consists of the replacement of certain sections of chilled water supply and return piping at City Hall Levels 1 through 3 from the Central Plant located at the basement level of Police facility at 464 N. Rexford Dr. New pipe supports and insulated pipe with connections to the air handlers in the mechanical rooms shall also be provided. All required testing and balancing reports shall be provided once the project is complete and approved by the City Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 02/10/2023 2:00 pm For the first floor, the replacement chilled water supply and return piping will be supported every eight feet. The new piping on the first floor will be extended to connect to the first-floor air handler. The piping will also be extended to the south air handler. The hard lid ceiling in the bathroom and hallway can be opened to provide access to the new piping route. There will alsobe 1-1/2" thermal insulation provided for the new piping. The replacement chilled water supply and return piping will be supported every eight feet for the second floor as well. A new connection to the bridge's air handler will be provided. The hard lid ceiling on the east side of the second floor can be opened to provide access to the new piping route. On the east side of the floor, piping can be run down to the first-floor mechanical room. Floor core and soffit will be provided to conceal the new piping. The piping will be connected from the new lines to the second-floor air handlers. On the west side of the second floor, 2-1/2" chilled water supply and return piping will be provided down to the first floor. For the third floor, 4" chilled water supply and return piping will penetrate down from the roof to the third-floor mechanical room. A roof penetration detail is included on the plans. 4" chilled water supply and return pipe will penetrate down to the second-floor ceiling space. An elevated section view of the piping route is provided on the plans.
