40th Street Bridge Railing Painting, Lumec Light Pole Painting, Marina Lighting Replacement Project This project generally includes, but is not limited to, the preparation and painting of the following metal surfaces within the City of Emeryville: - the 40th Street Bridge Railing, and - Approximately four hundred ninety-three (493) Lumec streetlight poles,And, The trenching, foundations, transfer of existing LED lights to new poles, and installation of replacement lighting and appurtenances along: - Powell Street and - A portion of the parking lot area of the Emeryville Marina The work, to be completed within 180 working days, is more fully described in the Contract Documents, as defined in the Contract provided in Section 8, Part A, Bid Documents. The engineer's estimate for this project is $1,500,000. Liquidated Damages in the Amount of $1,500 per calendar day will be assessed for failure to complete the contract work within the number of workdays specified. Bidders and their proposed subcontractors shall hold such licenses as may be required by the laws of the State of California for the performance of the work specified in the Contract Documents. Bidders bidding as the prime Contractor shall possess a valid California State Contractor's License, Classification A - General Engineering, Classification C10 - Electrical, or Classification C33 - Painting and Decorating at the time of contract award and throughout the Contract term.
