Site work and paving for a civil project in New Providence, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Work involving underpinning repairs and rip-rap placement at the Pennsy Road bridge. The Supervisors of Providence Township have authorized C.S. Davidson, Inc., to act on their behalf by opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of Providence Township. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Providence Township in the amount of 10% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. Each bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of his qualifications to perform the work. Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is not subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended. Bidders should refer to federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and the preservation of public and natural resources pursuant to PA Act No. 1972-247. The Contract Time for this project is sixty (60) calendar days. Providence Township reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 5/24/2022 5:00 PM
