Description The Holgate Library Bond Project is a new 21,000 sf building on the existing site at SE Holgate and SE 79th Avenue in the Foster Powell neighborhood in Southeast Portland. The existing 6,060sf building will be demolished to make way for the expanded future library. The new Holgate Library is designed to foster a culture of civic pride, with purposeful, sustainable, and socially just experiences to empower communities of Multnomah County. The new site and building are conceived to be nimble and resilient, providing flexibility and adaptability that enable library staff to innovate and create inspiring spaces and experiences that will serve communities now and into the future.
