Asbestos Removal at 209 Thelma Drive 1. Remove all asbestos siding from exterior of house. 2. Asbestos siding from all sides of house. 3. Material to be handled in accordance with DEQ/EPA regulations. 4. Transport and dispose of the asbestos siding in a DEQ approved hazardous waste landfill in accordance with DEQ/EPA regulations. 5. A copy of the limited asbestos inspection received on this property is available to low responsive bidder. 6. Vendor must have liability insurance - as per standard Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government insurance requirements. (If you have any questions on this, call Suzanne Siner, LCG Risk Manager, at 337-291-8290). 7. Work must be completed within three weeks of notice to proceed given by the Housing Office. Do NOT begin until given written notice to proceed by the Housing Office. 8. DEMOLITION CONTRACTORS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT COPIES OF DEQ APPROVED LANDFILL DUMPING CHARGES WITH THEIR WORK INVOICES. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL PERMITTING.
