Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Disputanta, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 15,000-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility.

The Crater Criminal Justice Training Academy (CCJTA) located in Prince George Virginia, is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeking qualified design-build teams for the design and construction of a proposed 15,000 square foot pre-engineered metal building. The PEMB will accommodate an addition to an existing Law Enforcement Training Center, to be located in Prince George County, Virginia. The project shall include an additional modular classroom (portable) at the pistol range as a separate line item. The Academy has adopted Design-Build Procedures which provide for a two-step process for selecting a designbuild team. In accordance with those Procedures, this RFQ is solely to request qualifications of Design-Build teams. As is stated in this RFQ, after the proposals are received, the Academy will select at least three teams and issue a request for proposals (RFP) asking those firms selected to submit a Technical (Conceptual) Proposal and a Price Proposal. The Academy will then continue discussions with those teams and will choose the team that the Academy determines is fully qualified and presents the best value. Competitive sealed bidding is not practicable or fiscally advantageous based on the probable scope, complexity, and/or scheduling priority of the project.
