This contract generally includes to properly maintain and protect the Forest Preserve's investment in its asphalt roadways, parking lots and trail systems, the Maintenance & Operations Department regularly contracts preventative maintenance work, including crack sealing, seal coating, and re-striping based on frequency, age, and condition.Project Cost: $160,000.00 (estimate).Project Completion: September 30, 2022.The bid submitted shall include a certified check, bank draft, cashier's check, bid bond or an acceptable irrevocable letter of credit payable to the Forest Preserve District of Will County for not less than 10% of total Bid amount.The successful Bidder shall submit a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond as outlined in the General Conditions, Article VI, Section 6.1. The performance and payment bonds shall be provided by a bonding company authorized and licensed to do business in Illinois.For questions regarding the project, contact Adam Oestmann at aoestmann@fpdwc.org or (815) 545-3743. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents. Bids shall be accompanied by the proper bid security. The FOREST PRESERVE DISTRICT OF WILL COUNTY reserves the right to accept any bid or any part or parts or combinations thereof, to waive any informalities or irregularities, and to reject any or all bids.
