Renovation of a municipal facility in Ashland, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Ashland County, Board of Commissioners (Owner) has recently acquired the former Rite-Aid Pharmacy Building located at 1211 Claremont Avenue, Ashland, Ohio. The vacant 11,000 square foot building is to be remodeled to include the future offices for the Ashland County Health Department and Emergency Management Agency. The Program of Requirements (POR) and conceptual design will be developed as a part of this project by VSWC Architects, the Criteria Architect/Engineer (Criteria A/E). The Board of Commissioners intends on contracting with a Design-Build Firm to complete the remodeling design and fully construct this Project. All aspects of the project and related issues will be implemented and operated consistent with the Ashland Countys policies and procedures. The Board of Commissioners of Ashland County will be accepting Statements of Qualifications from design-build firms for the renovation of an existing building for the Ashland County Health Department and Emergency Management Agency Submit all questions regarding this RFQ in writing to Bradley Adams (VSWC Architects) at brad@vswc.com with the project name included in the subject line. Design-Build Preconstruction Services Start 7 / 2022 Construction Stage Notice to Proceed 8 / 2022 Substantial Completion of all Work 3 / 2023 Design-Build Services Completed 4 / 2023 The Owner reserves the right to reject all proposals and cancel at any time for any reason this solicitation, any portion of this solicitation or any phase of the Project. The Owner shall have no liability to any proposer arising out of such cancellation or rejection. The Owner reserves the right to waive minor variations in the selection process.
