The property is approximately 17.46 acres in total area and is owned by 698 South Main Street, Inc. which will provide full access to the Site. The Site is covered by buildings totaling 413,000 SF, asphalt parking areas, and small areas of landscaping and trees/natural vegetation.The work consists of removal and disposal of hazardous building materials at a permitted facility in compliance with an Alternative Work Practice ("AWP") application and approval from the Connecticut Department of Public Health ("CTDPH") as well as the project technical specifications and demolition and associated concurrent tasks of certain buildings as described in the technical specifications attached hereto (the "Work").Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten (10) percent of the Total Bid Price. City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to decline to make an award, to waive any and all informalities if it is in the City's best interest to do so.
