Base Bid and Additional Bid Items o 1,110 Tons of Superpave 9.5 mm, Scratch/Leveling Course, placed 60 LB/SY o 3,330 Tons of Superpave 9.5 mm, Wearing Course, placed 180 LB/SY o 1,400 Tons of 2A Crushed Aggregate Subbase, placed as Shoulder Back-up o 17,495 Lineal Feet of Double Yellow Center Lines with Glass Beads All materials and workmanship must meet the requirements and standards of PennDOT Publication 408 - Specifications, and bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified for Work Class "F" Bituminous Paving. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Coolbaugh Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. The bids will be presented to the Coolbaugh Township Board of Supervisors at the scheduled regular meeting on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at approximately 6 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at which time they will be considered, and the contract may be awarded. The Coolbaugh Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.
