Renovation of a municipal facility in Tiffin, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This expedites the process and reduces errors for both buyer and supplier. Question Cutoff Date 5/22/2022 11:00:00 PM (ET) Over view: This project will consist of Statewide Rest Area Changing Station Retrofit for the following locations Tiffin County West bound, Story County south bound, Adair County East bound, Cedar Rapids North bound. These locations are not tied, vendors are able to bid certain lines or all lines if they choose to do so. The estimated project period to begin June 15, 2022 DOT Final completion February 15, 2023 Licensed , bonded and Insured General Contractor. Inspection done by Schneider and DNR Davis Bacon Wages do not apply to this project. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Until the contract is awarded the sole point of contact for this project is through Jody McNaughton (see bid contract information) any and all questions related to this project are to be submitted through the ION wave Bid system. Note: Only the awarded contractor will be required to have a Performance Bond & Power of Attorney IA DOT - Statewide Rest Area Changing Station Retrofit
