Site work for a water / sewer project in Clayton, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project is to repair approximately 226 LF of existing 10-inch and 2,460 LF of existing 8-inch sewer mains on portions of Railroad Avenue, Smyrna Avenue, Main Street, Wilson Street and Duck Creek Road using Cured-In-Place-Pipe construction methods. The work includes, but is not limited to, CCTV inspection, internal spot repairs, CIPP lining, temporary flow bypass, traffic control and restoration of all surfaces disturbed by construction. Bids are especially invited from minority business enterprises and women's business enterprises (MBE/WBE). This project is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Attention of the bidder is particularly called to the requirements of this program. The work will be subject to the Equal Opportunity requirements of the program. The Town of Clayton reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the bid opening.
