Renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility in Akers, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility.
The South Tangipahoa Parish Port Commission gives public notice that it will be requesting bid/proposals from interested and qualified contractors for the design/ build/installation of 30,000 s.f.. of a new 24-Guage R-Panel metal roofing system including insulation and related fasteners/clips/screws, ridge caps, eave trim, and translucent/fiberglass siding replacement/repair work where needed for Warehouse Building #3 @ the Port Manchac inter-modal terminal located @ 31450 Hwy. 51 South Manchac, LA 70421. The awarded contractor shall provide all related equipment, materials, and labor to perform the construction work and remove existing roof and all related debris material from the port terminal upon completion of the project. In addition, the project operations shall be performed in strict accordance with all Local, State, and Federal regulations including the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Occupational Health & Safety Administation, and State of LA public bid law rules and regulations relating to the construction project.
