The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to establish a contract, by means of sealed Bids, from qualified contractor(s) for the restroom renovations at JD Redd Park and Roby George Park from a source of supply that will give prompt and efficient service. The Project constitutes a public construction work to be competitively awarded pursuant to Section 255.20, Florida Statutes. Last Day for Questions: Tuesday, May 31, 2022 by end of business day, 5:00 p.m., EST Insurance: Required Bids received after the above-specified date and time will not be accepted. Bids submitted by fax or email will not be accepted. Pursuant to Ordinance No. 2016-12-16, a Cone of Silence is hereby imposed on the project identified above. Disclosure: A Cone of Silence shall be imposed upon each RFP, RFQ and bid after the advertisement of said RFP, RFQ or bid. At the time of imposition of the Cone of Silence, the City Manager or his or her designee shall provide for public notice of the Cone of Silence by posting a notice at the City Hall and or electronically. The City Manager shall issue a written notice thereof to the affected departments, file a copy of such notice with the City Clerk, with a copy thereof to each City Councilmember, and shall include in any public solicitation for goods or services a statement disclosing the requirements of this section.
