Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Woodbridge Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project consists of the resurfacing of approximately 1.42 miles of Federal Boulevard (from Minue Street to Blair Road) and the half-width of Blair Road (from Federal Boulevard to Roosevelt Avenue). Approximate quantities include 29,000 SY of HMA milling, 2,000 tons of HMA base course, 5,475 tons of HMA surface course, 2,360 linear feet of curb, 925 square yards of concrete walks and aprons, associated work, and restoration. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check of not less than ten (10%) percent of the bid payable without any conditional endorse!ment as a guarantee that in case the contract is awarded to the bidder, he will within ten (10) days thereafter execute such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond The successful bidder will be required to furnish a surety company bond in the full amount of the contract price indemnifying the Borough of Carteret, New Jersey for all proceedings, suits or actions of any kind of description and conditional for the faithful performance of the work. The Borough of Carteret reserves the right to reject any and all proposals to the extent permitted by law (in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 and applicable case law).
