Site work for a civil project in Smooth Rock Falls, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The project comprises the construction of new watermain, sanitary sewer, 'rough' lot grading, roadway, and drainage for the Corporation of the Town of Smooth Rock Falls (The Town) under Phase 2 Work for the new industrial park development in the Town of Smooth Rock Falls. The servicing work include the following approximate quantities: a) Watermain 518 m @ 300 mm, 157 m @ 200 mm b) Sanitary Sewer 531 m @ 200 mm, 163 m @ 100 mm c) Lot Grading 78,639 m2 (12 lots area combined) d) Roadway Design 510 m e) Drainage (SWM Basins) 2 The Owner has already pre-purchased approximately 486 linear meters of 300 mm DR18 PVC pipe (fittings and appurtenances not included) for project use as part of this contract. All additional watermain, materials and quantities to be the responsibility of the contractor. In addition. The Owner has also pre-purchased the Low-Pressure Sanitary Sewer (LPSS) grinder pump station and panel. Installation will be the responsibility of the contractor. The Contractor shall review the Drawings and Specifications prior to the commencement of the works to estimate the quantities required for the proposed works. The Drawings are only for the sole purpose of indicating to the Contractor the general magnitude of the work. It is the Contractor's responsibility to verify all quantities. The Phase 2 works include the installation of sanitary sewer and watermains on the subject site, including service extensions to proposed lots. Also, to include construction of industrial roadway, ditching, culverts, and storm water management areas. All servicing (including testing, commissioning, and reinstatements) within this phase is to be completed no later then September 23, 2022. Tender has been cancelled. If/when the project will be re-tendered is undetermined at this time.
