Renovation of an educational facility in Atlanta, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Atlanta Public Schools seeks a Construction Manager at Risk to complete a project to improve the appearance and function of the Toomer Elementary School facility. The successful construction manager will be expected to provide all the services included in the standard APS Construction Management at Risk Contract for building improvements at the following location: 65 Rogers Street, NE Atlanta, GA 30317 09/02/22 Deadline for written questions by 2:00 p.m. 09/09/22 Response to questions The initial contract will be a lump sum contract for the provision of pre-construction services. The lump sum fee for the pre-construction services is set out in the Fee Sheet attached in Bonfire. Additionally, the Construction Management percent of general conditions and percent fee for the construction phase will also be set with the initial contract. During the pre-construction services stage, Construction Manager shall submit a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) to Atlanta Public Schools for the Project in the entirety, and/or for phases or portions of the Project. If a GMP is accepted by Atlanta Public Schools, the contract shall be amended to add and incorporate the GMP into the contract (each a "GMP Amendment"). Atlanta Public Schools shall have no obligation to accept any GMP Estimated Project Substantial Completion 06/30/24
