Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Curb and gutter, curb and gutter extensions (bulb-outs), concrete raised crosswalks, concrete flatwork and asphalt paving tie-in work, rectangular rapid flashing beacons, landscape and irrigation. The work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing the equipment, facilities, services, and appurtenances indicated in the Contract Documents. The Work generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: Curb and gutter, curb and gutter extensions (bulb-outs), concrete raised crosswalks, concrete flatwork and asphalt paving tie-in work, rectangular rapid flashing beacons, landscape and irrigation The construction contract will be awarded in compliance with the City's value-based procurement program which takes into account certain factors in the Bidder's work environment. For more information about this program please read SLC Administrative Rules, Procurement Roles Chapter 19 (See document 00 22 18, Article 1.2 paragraph "A" for a link). The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality or technicality in any Bid if deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
