C All bids for the work shall be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or bidder's bond duly executed by a responsible corporate surety authorized to issue such bonds in the State of California, made payable to Alameda CTC, for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of said base bid. All deposits and bidder's bonds of additional unsuccessful bidders will be returned to the bidders within two weeks from the date set for the submission of bids. The successful bidder, simultaneously with the execution of the contract, will be required to furnish: Comprehensive general liability and workmen's compensation insurance policies as more fully described in Section 7, "Legal Relations and Responsibility to the Public," of the Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions; Labor and Material and Unemployment Insurance Bonds (Payment Bond) in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price; and a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
