SCOPE OF CONTRACT Work for this project requires the Contractor to be responsible for supplying all labor, materials, equipment, utilities, miscellaneous items, freight and delivery and all necessary valid licenses for the work summarized as follows: Replace two (2) package lift stations, replace several sections of sanitary sewer pipe, and repair and/or replace existing manholes, and minor areas of pavement removal and replacement. C.2 PROJECT LOCATON This project is located at the Frenchburg Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center. The campus is located approximately 10 miles from Frenchburg, Kentucky in Menifee County. The address is 6969 Tarr Ridge Road, Frenchburg, KY 40322 C.3 MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT Between $100,000 and $250,000. PACKING AND MARKING All shipments of materials, equipment and/or supplies shall be addressed to the Contractor and not to the Government. D-2 PROJECT LABELING FOR OFFICIAL CORRESPONDENCE The Government singularly identifies each project with a contract number at time of award. The contract number is a unique identifier to purposely and permanently represent an awarded project. The Government issued contract number is to be referenced on all official communication starting upon notice of award.The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within _10__[Contracting Officer insert number] calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 120 days [The Contracting Officer shall specify either a number of days after the date the contractor receives the notice to proceed, or a calendar date.] The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises Questions due June 7th 2022 @ 1200 CST Pre-Bid/ Pre-Proposal Conference (a) The Government is planning a pre-bid/pre-proposal conference, during which potential offerors may obtain a better understanding of the work required. (b) Offerors are encouraged to submit all questions in writing at least five (5) days prior to the conference. Subsequent to the conference, an amendment to the solicitation containing an abstract of the questions and answers, and a list of attendees, will be disseminated. (c) In order to facilitate conference preparations, it is requested that the person named on the Standard Form 1442 of this solicitation be contacted and advised of the number of persons who will attend. (d) The Government assumes no responsibility for any expense incurred by an offeror prior to contract award. (e) Offerors are cautioned that, notwithstanding any remarks or clarifications given at the conference, all terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged unless they are changed by amendment to the solicitation. If the answers to conference questions, or any solicitation amendment, create ambiguities, it is the responsibility of the offeror to seek clarification prior to submitting an offer. (f) The conferences will be held at the following locations for the corresponding line items and Forests listed in the Schedule of Items: Site Visit will be coordinated on a case-by-case basis as requested.
