Work being performed includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct new pedestrian access facilities and associated appurtenances between Alta Drive/Interurban Trail, to Beaumont Drive, and Colby Avenue. Includes a new crosswalk on Colby Avenue at Emma Yule Neighborhood Park with three Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons, a raised-median refuge island with pedestrian cut-through, two ADA ramps and performing all Work as required by the Contract Documents. It is recommended that Bidders "Register" in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the "Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. No Bidder may withdraw its Bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, except as may be provided in the Contract Documents. The City further reserves the right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City. The right is reserved by the City to postpone the award for a period of forty-five (45) days after bid opening. The Contractor will be required to comply with all local, State, and Federal laws and regulations pertaining to equal employment opportunities.
