See attached draft SOW for project details. INTENT: The intent of this Contract is to conduct a feasibility study to develop Alternatives for redundant power and heat for the Hanscom AFB natural gas tank station. LOCATION: Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA PRINCIPLE FEATURES: Feasibility Study Construction Cost Estimate 4. GENERAL INFORMATION: 4.1.In the event of a conflict between documents provided to the A&Es, the most stringent documentation shall apply. 4.2.All work performed shall meet the intent of the Statement of Work and be done in accordance with the associated referenced codes and regulations. ERIOD OF PERFORMANCE 7.1.The Period of Performance for this project is 119 Work Days. Any proposed changes to the period of performance shall be clearly identified in the Contractors proposal. The proposed schedule can be found as Attachment #1. 8 SECURITY: 8.1 The A&E shall comply with the provisions of AFI31-101 USAF Physical Security Program and all security and law enforcement procedures established at Hanscom Air Force Base. All requests for base access must be requested through the Government Representative. Additional information may be required is to a restricted area is required. 9 SITE ACCESS: 9.1 A&E and all consultants shall enter and exit a work area, as determined thru coordination with the Government Representative. Provisions shall be made to minimize disruption to occupants in adjacent areas at all times. 10 MATERIALS SPECIFIED: 10.1 No items specified shall be sole source items. All specified brand name finishes and equipment are to establish grade, quality, and style of required finishes and equipment. 10.2 All products and equipment shall comply with the Government's Buy American Act provisions. The A&E may request a copy of the Buy American Act from the Government Representative 11 NOTICE TO PROCEED 11.1 Contract award will act as the permission to start work (Notice to Proceed). The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
