Site work and paving for a civil project in Stamford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is seeking to engage Construction Contractors and Design Engineers to execute a Design-Build contract for the final design and construction of the subject project The project is located on I-95 in the City of Stamford, Connecticut. The Project scope will include but not limited to design and construction of; Roadway rehabilitation consisting of structural pavement rehabilitation; Roadway widening for the addition of auxiliary lanes; Roadway drainage construction, replacement and rehabilitation; Minor bridge work; Guiderail and median barrier work; Illumination and Incident Management System (IMS) work; Rehabilitation and/or construction of new noise barriers; Contractor Quality Control; and Environmental and water resource permitting. All interested parties must comply with the document entitled "Design-Build Procurement Request for Qualifications (RFQ)" for State Project Number 0135-0346, Auxiliary Lanes, Resurfacing, and Safety Improvements on I-95. This solicitation will be open to all construction contractors prequalified by CTDOT for Group No. 7 - Road Construction and Rehabilitation: Limited Access Highways/Freeways, who qualify for Scope Code "M". M - $ 40,000,000 $ 59,999,999 Construction firms interested in participating in the selection process that do not hold the prequalification stated above with CTDOT should initiate the prequalification process as soon as possible. Prequalification requirement information can be found within the RFQ document. There are no specific CTDOT prequalification requirements for the Consulting Engineering firms for this solicitation. The qualifications of the Consultant Engineering firms will be evaluated through the selection process. The RFQ documents will detail the requirements of the qualification phase of the project selection process.
