Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Richland, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

This solicitation serves to obtain proposals for the construction of a new fire station at the Hanford Nuclear site, located in Richland, Washington. The location for the construction of the new fire station will be across from the Fast Flux Test Facility (FFTF) in the 400 Area along the main access route. Hanford site active operations will be centered on the Central Plateau Region, encompassing an estimated 75 square miles. This concentrated focus will require the Hanford Fire Department's (HFD) emergency response to hazardous materials events, fire suppression, technical rescue incidents, emergency medical situations, and fire alarms to adapt to the changing work locations, conditions, and worker population. In January 2012, a technical evaluation was performed to provide fire station infrastructure recommendations which could be applied to the existing four (4) Hanford Fire Department (HFD) fire stations in the 100, 200, 300 and 400 areas. The evaluation recommended that a new fire station be constructed to service the Central Plateau East Area (CPE) and to facilities in and around the 400 Area. This solicitation serves to obtain offerors, meeting the requirements specified herein, to construct the new station in accordance with the specifications as provided. A mandatory, Pre-Proposal Conference/Job Walk will be held on May 17, 2022 at 10:00 AM PST in Conference Room 212 located at 3170 George Washington Way. We will travel to the construction site afterwards in the 400 area afterwards for a jobsite walkdown. Hanford Site Badges will be required to attend this event. Once the notification is sent the prospective Offeror will notify the Contract Specialist, Darin Newbry, via e-mail by Monday May 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM with the number of attendees, full name of attendees (First, Middle and Last Name) along with their Date of Birth (month and day) so badges can be requested. Only U.S. Citizens can obtain a temporary badge. A valid driver license or valid passport will be required for each attendee to pick up their temporary badge. Attendees will be notified prior to the conference where they can pick up their badges.
