Contract: D6TS.POC.012 Federal Aid: State Funded WBS: 6.1009SM, etc. Route: Various Location: Various County: Bladen, Columbus, Cumberland, Harnett & Robeson Description: Traffic Signal Maintenance, Fiber Maintenance & Roadway Lighting Maintenance Prequalifying to Bid: All prospective bidders shall be prequalified as a Bidder or PO Prime Contractor with the Department of Transportation prior to submitting a bid. Contractors who are not prequalified may obtain information and forms for prequalifying from the Contractual Services Management Section of the Contract Standards and Development Unit at All required prequalification statements and documents shall be filed with the Contractual Services Management Section at least four weeks prior to the date of opening bids A Bid Bond is not required in lieu of Article 102-10 of the 2018 Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures. Contract Payment and Performance Bonds are required in accordance with Article 103-7 of the 2018 Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures. Under the provisions of this Program, a NC General Contractors License, Contract Payment Bonds and Contract Performance Bonds are not required. Electronic bidding is not available for this proposal.
