NCDOT is seeking an experienced and qualified Vendor to provide Grounds Maintenance Services at the Division 6 Compound located at 558 Gillespie Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301. The areas to be maintained are exterior areas, yards, walkways, on-site parking lot, driveways, roadways, on-street parking, alleys, loading dock, and other areas within the property boundary. The approximate area to be mowed is 5.5 acres. The estimated total acreage of the property is 24.3 acres. The intent of this solicitation is to award an Agency Specific Term Contract to one (1) Vendor, though the State reserves the right to make partial, progressive, or multiple awards where it is advantageous to award separately by items, where more than one supplier is needed to provide the contemplated requirements as to quantity, quality, delivery, service, and geographical areas, and where other factors are deemed to be necessary or proper to the procurement in question. The Contract shall have an initial term of one (1) year, beginning on the date of final Contract execution It shall be the Vendor's responsibility to read the Instructions to Vendors, the North Carolina General Terms and Conditions, all relevant exhibits and attachments, and any other components made a part of this IFB and comply with all requirements and specifications herein. Vendors are also responsible for obtaining and complying with all Addenda and other changes that may be issued in connection with this IFB. All bids must be received by the issuing agency not later than the date and time specified in the IFB SCHEDULE Section above, unless modified by Addendum. Vendors are cautioned that this is a request for offers, not an offer or request to contract, and the State reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all offers at any time if such rejection is deemed to be in the best interest of the State.
