The work consists of decommissioning and installation of a new Boiler Burner Management System including all electrical and control system interconnection, at the Legislature Powerhouse, Regina, Saskatchewan. The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement reserves the right to reject any or all tenders received. Scope of Work .1 The Contractor must provide a tender that reflects complete, coordinated, commissioned and fully functional boiler burner control system (BMS) that is accepted by the Consultant, the Ministry of Saskbuilds and Procurement and meets the project requirements. Tenders shall only be submitted by Controls Contractors who have extensive recent experience in the installation and implementation of Distributed/Open Controls systems and applications in the power generation and institutional industry. .2 Contractor must verify the current BMS specifics, operation and communication protocols prior to submitting their tender to confirm that they are tendering a fully compatible BMS upgrade. .3 Controls contractor is responsible for installation of new sensor wells, and any other cutting or drilling into existing mechanicalsystems and equipment to facilitate installation of new BMS. Use the services of fully qualified mechanical sub-contractors with current Quality Control Manual appropriate for the required work registered and to the approval of the Chief Inspector in accordance with the Government of Saskatchewan Boiler & Pressure Vessel Regulations and the Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan
