The project consists of all labor, material, equipment, quality control, testing, surveying, and incidentals necessary to complete the project. The existing synthetic field shall be replaced with a complete turnkey synthetic turf system including the turf, all infill material, cushion (shock) pad system if required for the field system, and other items required for the complete systems, whether called out in the contract documents or not. The new synthetic turf field system will be installed over the existing granular base and drainage system. Sweetwater County School District No. 1 reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part of any bid and to waive any formality in any bid, as its best interest may appear. SUMMARY A. A. Complete installation of the turnkey synthetic turf system to accommodate football, soccer, as well as passive school use. B. Furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to install, in place, all synthetic turf material as indicated on the plans and as specified herein. The installation of all new materials shall be performed in strict accordance with the manufacturer's written installation instructions, and in accordance with all approved shop drawings. C. Accommodate in the order of three thousand (3,000) hours of organized sport related-use per year. D. The synthetic turf system and its components must meet all NFHS requirements including markings and layouts. E. Warranty - Minimum duration of 10 years. F. G-max testing. G. Operation and Maintenance Manuals. H. Operation and Maintenance training of Owner's staff. I. The Turf Installer shall not begin installing turf until all the turf material has been delivered and accounted for onsite.
