Site work for a road / highway in Delta, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The City of Delta invites tenders from experienced and qualified Contractors for the construction of a road side barrier within a steep slope area on Knudson Road in Delta, B.C. The work generally consists of the installation of an approximately 61m thrie – beam guardrail/barrier, placed on the south side of Knudson Road. The proposed barrier will utilize H-piles with 1.905m spacing along the roadside. Total pile length for the support piles is 4.355m, including 3.55m of embedment below paved ground surface and 0.805m of stick up. The centre of the thrie-beam guardrail will be set at 550mm above the asphalt surface. Spacing between the pile cap, and the curb to the front of the barrier post is recommended as 203mm. Cancelled.
