The Diocese of Lake Charles (DOLC) announces an open Request for Public Assistance as the result of a declared future event. DOLC is currently searching for qualified construction contractors to create a contractor pool able to perform emergency repairs at DOLC facilities that sustained damages during a future declared event, including proper mitigation, remediation, and site-specific services. The anticipated scopes of work include, but are not limited to the following: Provide Architectural and Engineering services related to the damage assessment and stabilization of facilities. DOLC, through its Program Manager (Kudla Architecture LLC), will meet with the awarded Proposer prior to the initiation of work at each facility(s) and will provide the awarded Proposer with Task Order(s) for the specific work to be performed. The attached Exhibit A shall further detail Scope of Work Considerations, as well as General Information for General Contractors and Vendors. The attached Exhibit B shall further detail required FEMA Provisions. The parties acknowledge their intent to fully comply with all FEMA requirements, including, without limitation, those contained on Exhibit B attached hereto and made a part hereof. To the extent the provisions of FEMA are inconsistent with any provisions of this Contract, the provisions of FEMA will control. The Proposer shall agree to execute Agreement for Small Construction, Maintenance and Emergency Services, as attached Exhibit C. Interested proposers should review all documents contained in this bid package and submit pricing accordingly. Note; attached rate sheet includes unit prices inclusive of labor and material.
