Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Conroe, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
Description: General Construction for HVAC Replacement with Electrical and Finishes Bids must be accompanied by a certified check upon some responsible bank of the State of Texas or a bid bond from a Surety Company holding a permit in the State of Texas in the amount of 10% of the bid. The amount of said check or bond will be forfeited to the Owner and the bank or surety shall be liable to the Owner for the amount in the event the successful proposer shall fail or refuse to enter into a contract or furnish bonds as hereafter required. The successful proposer must furnish a performance bond and a payment bond on the forms provided, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price from a Surety Company holding a permit in the State of Texas and approved by the Federal Government. No bid may in any way qualify, modify, substitute or change any part of the specifications or contract documents. The City of Conroe reserves the right to reject any and all offers, and to waive informalities in submission of proposals. The City of Conroe also reserves the right to award this proposal to the lowest most qualified responsible bidder meeting all the specifications or to the bidder who provides goods or services at the best value for the City.
