Supply, Delivery and Installation of a Prefabricated Storage Shed/Building at the Newmarket Lawn Bowling Property located at 400 d'Arcy St, Newmarket. The Owner requires submissions from reputable and experienced Contractors for the supply and installation of a new prefabricated storage shed/building at the Newmarket Lawn Bowling property located at 400 d'Arcy St, Newmarket. The structure is mainly intended for the storage of tools and lawn maintenance equipment, and will house electrical and irrigation systems. The site previously had a storage shed, which was recently demolished as it had reached the end of its useful life. The Owner requires a new storage building to replace the previous one which was approximately14 feet by 18 feet (approximately 250 sq. ft.). Site preparation will be completed by the Owner; grading, compaction and placement of a concrete slab on grade will be completed by Town staff prior to delivery and installation of the prefabricated structure on site. All work will be coordinated with the successful Contractor to ensure compatibility of the site preparation with the new structure. The Contractor shall allow for two (2) site visits: one (1) prior to delivery of the structure to confirm adequacy of the site preparation, and one (1) upon completion of work. The Owner requires the Contractor to provide the services in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract. The onus is on the Contractor to ensure they and their staff have necessary qualifications, experience and equipment to provide the services sought. Approximate overall dimensions of 14 feet by 18 feet (approximately 250 sq. ft.) or similar footprint. The dimensions of the building can vary from the specified dimensions if available standardized sizes provide cost efficiencies; if so, this shall be clearly stated in the bid submission.
