As of June 28, 2022, project was awarded to Escheman Construction, start date is Mid of July and will be completed by sometime in September The work in general consists of: installation of drainage facilities along Jackson Street in the Camptonville area in Yuba County. Other such items or details not mentioned above that are required by the plans, Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions, and as directed by the Engineer, shall be performed, placed, constructed or installed. No pre-bid meeting will be scheduled for this project. Question Response Deadline:May 20, 2022, 2:00pm The contract shall be executed by the successful bidder and shall be returned, together with the Payment Bond, Performance Bond and Certificate(s) of Insurance to the County so that it is received within 8 working days after the bidder has received the contract for execution. Failure to do so shall be just cause for forfeiture of the proposal guaranty. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified cashiers check, or bid bond, in the amount of 10% of the total bid price, payable to Yuba County Department of Public Works, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening.
