Tenders are invited to furnish and deliver sodium hypochlorite to various District treatment plants, facilities and dosing stations located throughout Cook County, for a six-month period. The Contract is divided, for purposes of bidding, into five Items. Bidders must submit bids for all five Items or the bid will be rejected as non-responsive. The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District intends to issue one purchase order to one Contractor for all of the material to be furnished under this Contract The estimated cost of this Contract is $1,155,314.00. The bid deposit for this Contract is $57,800.00. Funding of all Contract items is subject to the Board of Commissioners' approval of the District's budget for all years under this Contract. The Resident Engineer for this Contract is Mr. Adam Pulse. Mr. Pulse will provide responses to inquiries. All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals.
