Vehicle Exhaust Removal System for the Coshocton Fire Department. 1. Extraction System 2. Quality Standard Assurance and Experience 3. System Description A. The exhaust system shall be a source capture system designed to handle exhaust fumes from diesel engines. The system shall address a total of 9 capture points housed in main station of the Coshocton Fire Department. Fans shall be large enough to provide a minimum of 5400 cfm to allow for further expansion to the system. System shall be designed to provide as much flexibility as possible to allow vehicles to move from bay to bay and between stations. Tailpipe Adapters shall be of similar size throughout. Installation must be neat and clean using best material available. B. A Suction Rail System shall be used to eliminate long hoses that have dips or loops for all vehicles. (3) Long, Door to Door Rails must be included and allow for multiple vehicles to be attached to a single rail. (6) Short Rails shall be included for bays 4, 5, and 6. 4. Air Volume and Fan Requirements 5. Turnkey Installation 6. Nozzle Attachment 7. Nozzle Release and Material 8. Sliding Aluminum Track/ Expandable Hose Track 9. Suction Rail 10.
