Site work for a mixed-use development in Memphis, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and playground / park / athletic field.
This event is to bid for a one-time purchase for TN Department of Environment & Conservation. Specifications and terms & conditions are attached. Agency Contact: Shane Gibson at 615-253-4762 and Shane.Gibson@TN.gov. This is a request for bids for a Contract to furnish all material, equipment, supplies and labor to convert the existing ballfield into a regulation adult male softball field: Description of Work: A. Remove outfield fence and posts. Dispose of off-park. Recycling is encouraged. B. Regrade field to new adult male softball dimensions with 1-3% slope in infield and outfield to ensure proper stormwater runoff. Fill material available on-site in drainage ditch. C. Provide and install new 4-foot outfield fence and extend baseline fences from 225-feet to 275-feet. Maintain curvature for adult softball, approximately 500 linear feet of fence with new posts and re-utilizing the existing 8-foot gate. D. Provide and install approximately 60,000 square feet of Tifway II Bermuda sod. E. Provide and install new suitable sand mix to infield. F. Provide and install new foul poles, base anchors, pitching mound, and home plate for adult male softball. G. Seed and straw any disturbed areas outside of fencing.
