The City Council of the City of Friona, Texas would like to explore construction ideas for the development of certain city property ("Property") described as the following: TOWNSHIP 1-4, LOT 2.07 AC E OF EUCLID & N OF 15TH OF SEC 31, ACRES 2.07 (FLIPPIN) also known as 2.07 AC E OF EUCLID & N OF 15TH OF SEC 31. The Friona City Council and Friona Economic Development Corporation want to explore construction ideas for the development of the city block located between 15th and 16th Streets and Euclid Avenue and North Main Street. The City is aware of the deficit and the availability of housing within our community and wants to promote the new construction of single-family residential homes, two-family and multi-family housing. The City has generated a Request for Proposal (RFP) for those interested in building homes in Friona and invites them to submit their proposals. We invite you to respond to this Request for Proposal (RFP) with new ideas about how this site can be developed while meeting local goals. Our intention is to use this RFP to generate new and innovative ideas and concepts for the development of the site while taking into consideration any constraints which could include restrictive covenants, water/wastewater capacity, street development and a difficult to develop site.
