Renovation of a water / sewer project in Hopewell, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The metal-clad switchgear and all components shall be designed, manufactured, and tested in accordance with the latest applicable standards of ANSI/IEEE C37.20.2 and CSA C22.2 No. 31. 5/15 switchgear shall be UL listed and supplied with UL labels. Metal-clad switchgear and circuit breakers rated for 4.76 kV are referred to as 5kV or 5kV class switchgear and circuit breakers in this specification. Scope of Analyses: The fault current analysis and protective device coordination study shall begin at each source bus (new and existing onsite generation and utility) and extend through the fuse and circuit breaker sections in Switchgear MSG-100. C. Determination of Facts: The time-current characteristics, features, and nameplate data for each existing protective device shall be determined and documented. The Engineer will provide available fault current data to the manufacturer. The manufacturer shall utilize the fault current availability indicated as a basis for fault current studies
